    We hired a car from the Hudson branch. The car was filthy, the tank was empty and at least one tyre was bald. Seats were stained and disgusting, and the one chlorox wipe left in the car was brown with filth after we used it to wipe the steering wheel, handbrake and door handles. The tank had 44miles left when we picked it up, requiring us to add fuel straight away before we could go anywhere. The signs and voice recordings on phone about covid safety are a complete joke. The Hudson office gave us a discount due to the poor state of the car, but it was still unacceptable. Unsafe and filthy.

    Make sure you take time and date stamped pictures of EVERY SINGLE INCH of any vehicle before you pull out of the lot or they will try to charge you for the most minimal damage on the vehicle. Did a walk through on a Nissan altima upon pick up, rented out to me by Abby. I pointed out a headlight that was pushed in and was told "that's prior damage from a previous renter. We have it listed in our notes, it won't fall back on you." Then I also noticed a very small dent on the side of the car which I pointed out to her and she said "small cosmetic damage like that doesn't matter". After having the car for a few weeks we noticed the same headlight looked like it's been pushed in further and we called and spoke to Abby to see if we should bring it back. She asked if it was the same headlight that was address upon pick up and said it was fine since we already addressed it. When it was time to return the car, a different employee who I believe may be the manager did the walk through of the car and tried to charge us for the headlight AND the small dent. We relayed to him the information Abby told us about these damages, and when she was asked by the other employee her response was "I dont remember". Well it's a good thing we took pictures of the car the day we picked it up because these people are trying to charge customers for previous damages that they purposely don't keep notes of. Im sure they will be attempting to charge the next renter of this car for those same exact damages. In the end, the other employee sided with us and refunded our deposit. But beware this place DOES NOT keep proper documentation of the damages to their vehicles and will try to charge you for them after they tell you "don't worry about that"
