Metro 303

I've been a tenant at Metro 303 for over 2 years. Last week's rain storm caused a power outage in the part of Hempstead where Metro 303 is located. Metro 303 was not the cause, but its residents were affected, and the Metros staff response was phenomenal. From the start of the blackout in the early AM hours until it ended, Monica, the property manager, was present providing assistance, information and assurance. I particularly want to thank Monica for spending time reassuring my brother who stays with me, he is a senior citizen, with some health issues, and medication that the power outage could have affected. It is this type of service from the staff that has made my stay at Metro a positive one. Any request or concerns I have has been addressed promptly. The community spaces are well maintained and the general spaces such as the lobby are continuously being cleaned throughout the day. The package receiving system is well organized. Ive received all of my packages, with the staff even notifying me when they see a package contains perishable items that I should pick up immediately. In short, if you are looking for info to make a decision about moving. Metro 303 is an outstanding luxury building, with an affordable price. But check it out for yourself - make your own decision.

Really like the apartment size. I love the gas stove for cooking and my closets are huge! Like my neighbors and the office staff seem to genuinely care.

This building along with management is terrible. I sent a request to not have anyone in my apartment when i was not home. And of course. Someone came into the apartment

From the time we first moved in, the building has gone through 3-4 different managements in less than 2 years. There was always promise of changes and progression for the building and its tenants but unfortunately its been mostly empty promises with little consideration for the tenants. Each new management seems to inherit the mess made by the last one and it keeps snow balling into bigger issues. From blaring fire alarms that set off for no reason at 3:00 am and tenants resorting to personally contacting the fire department to shut it off, to water pipes bursting and flooding tenants apartments. Its luxury prices for hood accommodations.

STAY CLEAR - For the price that we pay, the location is not worth it. Also currently, there are so many issues with management since they do not prioritize our building (they mainly prioritize their west Hempstead building). The issues range from terrible communication, almost everything is outdated or broken save your time and money and stay clear from this place!!! If you need more confirmation, come by and visit and ask a resident, and they will advise you to not move in - we are all terribly annoyed. The main elevator has been down for almost 2 weeks! Its always something and management doesnt really care. Not worth the price at all given the buildings condition, terrible management and location (people drink and loiter on the corner of Main Street and the building does nothing about it). ***update 9/25/23 *** there was one manager (Patrick) that really did care and helped residents after previous management completely dropped the ball. Patrick is no longer with Metro303 and the building was recently bought out by a new company. Since then, the building has flooded, the blaring alarm system has gone off none stop (it is so loud and at 120 db can actually caught hearing damage long term) and when I emailed management, I received a passive aggressive response that professionally told me to deal with it with zero apology for the terrible living conditions. We pay for luxury amenities but get subpar, way below average service and support. METRO303 is a terrible place to live please consider anywhere else.
