Even though my dog Frankie loves to come here to see his dog friends I must say the Harrison Dog Park has gone way down hill over the years. The fence that surrounds it is coming up and if you have a small dog they could easily escape. Also it gets extremely muddy after it rains and there are numerous holes all over. You would think with all the trees the town cuts down they would fill the dog park with a bunch of wood chips because that would solve the problem of the mud and holes and best yet it wouldn't cost a thing since they are already chopping down the trees and chipping them up. Hopefully someone important will read this. At the entrance of the dog park there is a plaque that dedicated the park stating who was involved in making it. It states "the best dog park in Westchester" I'm sorry to say if that's supposed to be the best I'd hate to see their meaning of bad! I will still visit there cause my dog enjoys it and looks forward to going but I sure hope the town makes some repairs and really makes the Harrison Dog Park the best in Westchester. **Update 4/10/23** So I'm going to guess that someone important read my original review because the Dog Park has undergone some really good improvements. All the holes in the ground have been filled. The fence has been repaired and the entire dog park now has a nice thick layer of wood chips. I am highly impressed with all of the improvements. It's on the way to indeed becoming one of Westchester's best dog parks. Way to go and great job. **Update 4/4/24 the dog park is still doing great just time to put down another layer of wood chips

The space for dogs was very ugly, I didn't like it, that park seems more family-friendly than dog-friendly.
