Very happy with my experience with Ballard and Sons. My egress window project had some challenges (e.g. patio pavers and pool close to dig site). Barry and his team worked around the challenges and completed the project with no disruption to existing landscape. Quality work done in a reasonable time frame. I would recommend Ballard and Sons for anyone looking to add an egress window.

Ballard and Son Construction installed an egress window in my basement apartment last week and I couldn't be happier with it! Initially, I was only putting it in to meet legal requirements for a livable space. But their meticulous installation and hand finishing work adds so much beauty and light to the apartment. The window can be opened in two ways. Like a door to escape but also angled back from the top for ventilation. The owner and installer Barry and his assistant Brian are just downright good people and a pleasure to deal with. They were even kind enough to help me finish up a couple other things at the house. And they installed the egress window as it should be done with all the necessary precautions to avoid any problems down the road. I'm grateful to have found Ballard Construction as I didn't like other options out there. Highly recommend them and their expertise.
