Elizabeth was incredibly knowledgeable and a phenomenal teacher for a pretty complex strategy involving a life estate, Medicaid Benefits, and step up basis for a real estate transfer. She was very patient and clear in educating my family on the laws regarding Medicaid, and the tax effects surrounding step up basis and date of death valuation.
The outcome was a strategy the protected my uncles ability to qualify for Medicaid while avoiding near $1.5M in capital gains tax on a real estate asset.
5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommended!
