I am a shop owner In Gloversville I ran an ad for one week was charged 140$ then I added addition to to ad 3days later for 40$ more they didn’t extend the ad any extra days I called the Amsterdam recorder to run the same original ad to put in their paper and on line for a week for $67 the ads for a local paper in the leader is ridicules no wonder the paper is almost non existent I will never run any more ads with this paper to bad they can’t work with local business I’ve heard this from many business owners I don’t mind paying a fair amount for ads but this is way to much and then not to extend more days for adding when I called to put it on a thurs and said it was a cut off day which I wasn’t told about and the addition of the ad did run till Sunday so that gave me only 3 days at additional cost
