Geneva On The Lake

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel once again, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. It's always such a pleasure to return, and each stay has been consistently delightful. The room was a breath of fresh air, both literally and figuratively. It was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. I particularly appreciated the little touches, like the delightful shampoo and toothpaste when I realized I had forgotten mine. The hotel staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were not just friendly but genuinely caring, attending to all my requests, from a breakfast-to-go to extra towels, with promptness and professionalism. The cleaning staff paid great attention to detail, and the maintenance team was incredibly friendly and patient, even when children were full of questions. It was evident that they take pride in their work and in making guests feel valued. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight of my stay. The ambiance was stunning, and the food was nothing short of delicious. The garlic cheese bread with crispy prosciutto and the tomahawk steak were culinary revelations, and Nina's cosmo was a delightful treat for those with a sweet tooth. The overall quality, variety, and pricing of the meals were impressive, especially coming from NYC. The location of the hotel is another plus. Situated by the water, it offers breathtaking views and is conveniently close to Geneva, vineyards, beaches, and hiking trails. Despite its proximity to so many attractions, the hotel was peaceful, with no issues regarding noise levels. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent, which was crucial for my Zoom calls during the stay. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed stay with great food, wine, and a positive, inspiring atmosphere. It's a gem that truly stands out, and I look forward to many more visits in the future. I will definitely return and bring all my friends here to experience this amazing place!

my wife and i took our honeymoon here, looking to get away from the busyness of where we are from. geneva on the lake was simply perfect. every member of staff that we interacted with was friendly and genuinely cared about us having the best experience possible. we opted for the whirlpool suite which had a stunning red jet tub which worked phenomenally given how cold the area was during our stay. we loved the canopy over the bed and the amazing high ceilings. the bed was very comfortable and we both slept well amongst the peace and serenity of the grounds. the only possible critique that we could find was there were not that many outlets in the bedroom to charge phones/etc but this is such a minor detail and did not at all impact our stay. we absolutely loved the historic vibe and decor, it was simply amazing. this was truly a trip for us to remember and we both hope to stay here soon. Food & drinks: their restaurant had the BEST breakfast my wife and i have ever had. cannot recommend the breakfast pizza enough. we unfortunately did not get to have dinner here as i was having chronic GI issues during the trip, but if it is half as good as the breakfast it will knock your socks off.

Went here for our anniversary weekend and toured the local vineyards. Had a great time and the room was nice. A bit awkward to get to with the narrow stairs and hallways, but not a big problem overall.
