It is quite unfortunate that this theater in the condition that it is because it has so much potential. I have been visiting this theater for about 1.5 years now and I wanted to keep giving it a chance because I do find the physical theater i.e. 1-8 comfortable. However, the common areas are truly lacking.
While theater food is never GREAT there is a baseline expectation that at lease the popcorn would be a constant. Unfortunately, in all my time I dont recall having an experience when the popcorn was not stale or tepid at best. Additionally, the upkeep of the fountain drink area has continued to deteriorate since I first started coming to the theater. My wife and I already have the expectation that although there more than enough free-style machines present they will undoubtably be either poorly stocked to where you must jump between three of them in order to get the drinks of your choice and/or ice; or the floor will be a sticky mess to the point you dont particularly want to approach the machines.
My inclination was to initially think that this reflected the staff working at the theater at any particular time but the fact that this has been a consistent trend across different day, times, years shows that there is a systemic opportunity. This was further demonstrated when there was a shattered front door for weeks which was not repaired. While I understand the realities of running a business, I still feel that there are just too many opportunities.
Despite our best effort to continue to make this our home theater we have opted to explore other options.
