Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment online for a routine teeth cleaning as a returning patient. Shortly after, I received a phone call informing me that as a new patient, I would require an hour for X-rays and various tests. I clarified that I wasn't a new patient and only needed a regular cleaning. The receptionist then rescheduled me for 12 pm and sent a confirmation text. Today, I took the day off and arrived at the dental office, only to be informed by the same receptionist that my appointment had been canceled. There was no explanation or apology, just a statement that it had been canceled, with a subtle implication that I might have been the one to cancel it. When I asked why I hadn't received any notifications or calls, she simply said she would do so next time. It seems to me that the dental office canceled my appointment, possibly to accommodate someone willing to pay more for services beyond a routine cleaning. I won't be returning and cannot recommend them unless you're prepared to spend more money. Regarding their 4.9-star rating with no negative reviews, I think it hard to believe. Do you think all the reviews are trustworthy?
