Very strange employees work in the store

Right when entering the store I was help n greeted by Joe around 1:11pm, He was very helpful And kind and went beyond to help us finding the clothing size we needed..thank you Joe you was very patient n kind..will shop at your store soon. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

After spending over $250 at this store I was stopped on my way out and asked to see my receipt and the items in my bag. As she matched my items against the receipt, I asked the associate if they do this to all their customers and I was told yes. She then proceeded to ask to check the items in my ZARA bag at which point I refused because I am in American Eagle. What business do you have checking the items in my ZARA bag? As I was leaving, I heard the sales associate say over her walkie, she is leaving. I have worked in retail and know when I am being tagged as a thief or potential thief. I'm going to call this instance exactly what it is, racial profiling. Just because the person who matched my receipt to the items in my bag was black doesn't mean the practice isn't racial profiling. This will be my last time giving my money to this business.

First let me say the employees in this store are miserable. The only nice and helpful employee there that has manners and was willing to help is Ben. After going through 3 people . Because of Ben we bought some items, if not I would have taken down the items name and purchased it online. Next time I will do my purchasing online. So how I rate, Customer Service I give it a 1 it took me to go through 3 people to get a decent human being who knows what customer service is. BEN was friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive to assisting shoppers. He Tailor product recommendations and promotions to our preferences. Quality of the clothes and varieties is nice. I was in shock to find out they cater to curvy and athletic bodies. I rate this 10/10. Also the clothes are in trendy styles. No one told us about the offers and promotions being held. I had to read it for myself and even when I asked for clarification the individual basically brushed me off and gave me the wrong info so when I asked Ben he gave me the right info. So I rate communication a 3/10 The employee at the cashier sign me up for the loyalty rewards which was nice and offer me the store cc. But lord Jesus she is too beautiful to be looking so miserable. Loyalty reward program 8/10 Clean 10/10 and Inviting Environment 0/10: No welcoming. Well-organized store. The fitting rooms were clean and nice with big mirrors . 10/10 not hard to get one plentiful. The AE is near build a bear along side of jcpenny store. Alot of parking as well.
