I represent landlord - Seawest, LLC (SEAWEST) - and would like to direct this message to all folks who oversee New York City properties with 3+ units. SEAWEST runs a 3-unit property at the water front location in Far Rockaway, NY area. SEAWEST came across ATG Mechanical Corp. (ATG) in 2019. Back then - during pre-ATG days - the property was flooded due to a faulty water heater, which required removal and replacement. ATG came forward with an innovative proposal that would save space and money for small-to-medium home owners: replacement of traditional water heater / boiler technologies with new instant combi-unit for the property, in our case Navien NFC-200. Back then, the proposal was a gamble, because it required moving away from traditional time-tested heating supply toward unfamiliar world of instant combi-boiler. One thing that helped was the Navient promise, placing ATG as their trusted installer. ATG was, and continues to remain in the status Navien Service Specialist, which is the trusted installer mark by the combi-unit manufacturer Navien. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the move from traditional heating source to an innovative NFC-200 required a "leap of faith," because new technology requires timely service and maintenance, and therefore dependence on the original installer, here ATG. Accordingly, if your plumbing company fails you as a service provider, then you as a landlord will dive into world of horribles with NYC Department of Housing and Preservation Development and/or Department of Buildings, because all it takes is one 311 call from your tenant, and you as a landlord will be subject to various penalties/fees for code failures. It is 2024 now, and for almost 5 years, ATG has proven itself as a reliable plumbing company for SEAWEST, and a strong Navien Service Specialist supporter. Since 2019, SEAWESTs NFC-200 experienced a number of issues including circulation pump-replacements, mixing-valve issues, and even an expansion tank blow-out as a result of the latest NYC earthquake. Over the years, AGT consistently came forward as a reliable company, which was ready to work through any issues surrounding plumbing challenges. Bottom line: if you are looking for a reliable licensed plumbing professional, who does not do side gigs, (although it might :) ) but is there to do a quality job and back it up with its name and license in New York City, go to ATG.

Victor and Saul were fantastic and fixed my boiler issue quickly and for a fair price. Other companies tried to charge me significantly more but ATG fairly assessed the situation and resolved the issue. Really glad I went with them and I will be a repeat customer.
If you have a Navien unit they are particularly great and knowledgeable!

Andreas did a great job with my Navien installation. They were very professional and very through. They installed the unit and finished the entire job on the same day and it was very smooth. My heat and hot water never have been better. I definitely recommend them for your boiler installation.
