Forest View Center

Im writing this review on behalf of my grandmother who is not so tech savvy. I highly recommend Laura Accardi as a professional speech therapist. With her guidance, I've seen remarkable improvements in my grandmothers communication skills that shes even able to pass onto her great grandson, my toddler son, when she babysits him. From what my grandmother tells me, she creates a supportive and comfortable environment, making each session productive and enjoyable. Ive seen that she takes a personalized approach to ensure my grandmother receives the attention and care she needs. Overall, Laura is an exceptional therapist who genuinely cares about her clients' progress and well-being. Thank you Laura!

My mother broke her hip after a fall and we had to find her a nursing home for short term rehab. I started looking around rehab centers near forest hills, NY and I was stressing out trying to find her the right one. There were 3 things I was looking for. 1. Cleanliness The center should not be depressing because the mental aspect is equally as important as the physiotherapy is to the person to be admitted. After visiting 3 different ones, I settled on Forest View. Its bright, the rooms are clean and also the physiotherapy room has lots of room for their guests. . 2. Physiotherapy twice a day. As advised by the nurse care manager in the hospital, I was looking for a center which does physiotherapy twice a day. Forest view made sure that my mom received that everyday twice a day. Their physiotherapists were top notch, always encouraging and also did not take no for an answer when their guests didnt want to do it. 3. Staff The staff have been amazing to my mom. I can truly say without them she wouldnt have recovered within 6 weeks and would be able to go home walking by herself. Thank you to all the staff, nurses, doctors and everyone involved. My mom has nothing but good things to say about all of them and they made her stay comfortable while providing the care she needs. If you are reading this review, then you are at the same position that I was a 6 weeks ago. If you are thinking of the right rehab for your loved one then look no further. From day one I have rest easy knowing I made the right decision for her. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation. PS. There is always paid parking on 72 st and the rehab is right next to 71st continental subway station.

My friends mother was in there for rehab for a broken wrist. She is 87 and also has dementia. They sent her home with her wrist in the same condition as when she entered knowing full well she could not care for herself and had no one to care for her. Zero compassion. They deserve no stars. Put your loved ones in here if you dont give a damn what happens to them. ABSOLUTELY the WORST!

I was at Forest View for 6months. The staff were great, kind friendly. Ann, Anthony and Barbara were great to me.
