My only regret with seeing Dr Mcgrath is that i didnt see him sooner. Do not hesitate. Dr mcgrath specializes in endoscopic surgery so ask if you are a good candidate. After years of pt and injections, i finally decided to get surgery. Dr mcgrath addressed a synovial cyst in my l5s1 that was likely the culprit behind my severe numbness in my left leg, he answered all my questions, was incredibly patient with me and put me at ease with what to realistically expext before during and after surgery (endoscopic l5s1 cyst resection). Awesome bedside manners, truly cares for his patients. After a month im back to working out and more importantly NUMB FREE. TY Dr Mcgrath!

This doctor is one of the most irresponsible doctor we've ever visited.. his laziness and unwillingness to treat us properly caused us a lot of trouble and pain for months. Long story short, one of my family member recently got into an accident at work and we were referred to him as a post charge doctor from the Hopsital. Not only did he postponed the visit but also refused to remove her suture which had been in her for 3 weeks+. We told him all the complications but he told us he couldnt help but also didnt refer us to other needed doctors or make followup appointments. During the visit, he was dismissivie, indifferent, as though trying to get rid of us ASAP. We had to go to an urgent care to remove the suture and the doctor there was shocked at how long this thing remained in the skin since they shouldve been taken out within a week. Months later, we were like headless flies, trying to navigate through different doctors and evaluations while not having a proper case established all because he didnt do anything on his part as the first neuro doctor who performed treatment. Now we have to find an attorney to sort everything out. How can a doctor be so indifferent and irresponsible.

I had the unfortunate experience to require his services on an emergency basis. He turned out to be fantastic. Great bedside manner, very frank with expectations, spoke to my wife and I afterwards at the bedside. No complications, the wound healed quickly. If you have to have spine surgery this physician was excellent. The office staff seems a bit overwhelmed by phone and forms, but overall it was an excellent experience (L5/S1 bilateral laminectomy with microdiscectomy open)
