Agora Taverna

Consistently exceeds our expectation! I have come to Taverna Agora five times in the span of 6 months. The food is consistently fresh and high quality, and the portions are generously served. The staff is consistently hospitable, attentive and accommodating. The interior has a clean and fresh look, tables are nicely spread out so that even during busy hours, we can enjoy a good conversation at the table. If you are looking for a lovely, relatively quiet dining experience that consistently delivers on food and service, Taverna Agora is the place to go!

Agora is one of the best restaurants in NYC. Not only is the food superb but also the wait staff are exceptional. Peter the owner, is a gracious host and is very accommodating to the guests. Agora is a must! Vegetarian options: There are salads, vegetables and hummus to choose from.

The food here is fresh and consistently good! They have excellent customer service as well. This has become our go-to spot in the neighborhood. Theyre also dog-friendly which is a huge plus as dog owners.

I love this restaurant. Peter and staff are always welcoming and accommodating.The calamari/ salmon are always outstanding, along with many other dishes. Try the Agora chips!
