I had an excellent experience at the New York Language Center in Queens. It stands out as one of the best ESL schools in New York. The entire staff is exceptionally supportive, with a special mention to the International Student Office, which has been remarkably cooperative regarding my F1 status, vacation, 120 extensions, and financial support. Daniel Costa, Liliana, and Rodolfo at the international office consistently prioritize maintaining F1 student status and provide valuable resources for vacations. I received a 35% discount on my course tuition fee, approximately $1100 every 20 weeks, which has been immensely beneficial, subject to certain conditions. The school's easygoing atmosphere is complemented by abundant student resources and study materials. The professional and friendly teachers address individual weaknesses, offering personalized attention. The curriculum emphasizes professional English, Academic English, and everyday usage, including American English. For more advanced students, specialized courses such as Business English, TOEFL, and Listening and Speaking are offered. The Listening and Speaking course introduces fascinating books, like the recent National Geographic Voices 7, providing valuable insights into American culture.
