Please believe the bad reviews. GEORGE the funeral director is shady, rude, UNPROFESSIONAL, not empathetic to your loss, and keeps all the money but promises some in return for prepayments. STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES

Really great personable funeral home. They always do a great job and are very respectful.

Definitely go to meet the funeral director, George, before you decide on this place. I, unfortunately, had to find a funeral home for my father, so I called a few places to find out prices before I went to see the location, facilities, and meet the funeral director. As may know, this is to weed out any that may. not suit me or my family. I called George just to get some general prices, which were, pretty much the average. I told him that I would call him if I wanted to schedule an appointment with him. I decided not to meet with him, so I didn't make an appointment with him. HOWEVER, he calls me hours later, that same day and says that he is waiting for me. I replied that I didn't make an appointment with him, so I was confused as to why he was waiting for me. Then he proceeds to rudely tell me " I wish you would have called me because here I am, sitting here, waiting for you on my day off!" Uhhhhhhh... seriously.... First of all... what???!!! Why would he do that? I didn't make an appointment with him! I told him that I would call to schedule an appointment if we wanted to come in. Secondly..... Why would he scold me, like I'm his child for HIS foolishness? I didn't ask him to wait for me, and he didn't say that he would be in the office waiting for me on his day off! Thirdly... I really don't need his attitude and his craziness when my dad had just passed... As a funeral director, he should know better! Be very careful if you are deciding on this place... George was just rude and crazy. There was no need for this, especially if you are already suffering a loss.

I wish that I didn't have to find a funeral home. During this very bleak time, I wasn't concerned with online reviews, fancy websites, or anything really. I chose Schwille Funeral Home, simply because because of it's location. But after a few phone conversations with George Schwille, owner/operator of Schwille Funeral Home, I was grateful for Google's ability to organize results by distance. George was able to arrange things that I wasn't mentally prepared for, including contacting medical examiners' offices in the state that my stepdaughter perished in, & arranging to have her transported back to NY. George was very helpful & thoughtful throughout a very difficult process for my family. He was incredibly accommodating, the pricing was very reasonable, & he went out of his way to make sure that my stepdaughter looked beautiful as everyone said their final goodbyes. I couldn't be more grateful for everything...
