This school was a life saver. After my husbands work schedule changed, we struggled to find a daycare or school for our daughter and I was lucky to find bright kids of America. Its a small, very cute school and within walking distance too. The teachers are amazing. Very caring and understanding. They were able to keep in touch with me throughout the year on a daily basis via the ClassDojo app. The school offers extended day as well which helped a lot. The improvement in my daughters speech, and social skills was phenomenal. Highly, highly recommend this school if youre looking for great teachers and a happy kid(s).

My daughter was in Bright kids of America Preschool last year and she loved it there. The school prepared her well for her new school now, and the teachers were very kind. The staff were very professional and take good care of the kids and the classrooms. I appreciate the staffs hard work and their dedication to the kids.

I would definitely recommend their 3k to any parent for their children . All the teachers are amazing . They are all really hands-on, kind and patient with the children. My son had a really bad separation anxiety (to be honest we both did) . Its been just me and him since the pandemic so we both were a little nervous. It took him only about a week to get used to school & then he loved it, still does. He comes home and tells me how much he loves his teachers and friends. They helped him improve his speech ,understanding, & social skills. They really do their best to make sure they get to know a way to help each kid thrive. I feel like they truly understand sometimes you just cant do a general thing for all Kids what helps one learn might not help the other and they make sure to find a way for each kid to understand and love school . They really take the time to give all them the attention & love they need. I really hope they open a 4K/pre-k class here Im not looking forward to him going to a different school in September since they dont have one yet and I know he wont be happy about that either.

Summary: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE AT ALL!!!! I'm so glad that I'm finally over with this daycare. My child attended this daycare from Apr. 2022 ~ Jul. 2023 for 16 months. My observation/experience with this school is longer and newer than any of the previous reviews and solely based on the "daycare" experience NOT the 3K experience. (Also, I see a recent review below but I believe that person is a current teacher, not a parent!!!) Pros: "Some" teachers are good. Cons: Lack of communication & miscommunication: I'VE NEVER RECEIVED ANY DAILY REPORT FOR 16 MONTHS about my child's activities, meals, development, or social interactions. This lack of communication leaves me uninformed about my child's daily experiences and progress, making it challenging for me to stay involved in their development at daycare. Furthermore, when I attempt to communicate with the director or teachers via text, they often misinterpret my messages or provide answers that are completely unrelated or irrelevant. Such consistent miscommunication can be frustrating and discouraging, leading me to avoid engaging in conversations with them altogether, which is not a healthy situation. Director's lack of professionalism and operational skills: This daycare was approved to be run as 3K by DOE starting Sep. 2022. My 2 year old child (who was not eligible for 3K yet) had been going there since April 2022 but only 2 weeks before the new semester for 3K started in Sep. 2022, the director reached out to us saying that "We accepted too many 3K students. Since your child is not in the 3K program, you may/may not be able to join. We will let you know if we can enroll your child depending on how many 3K students actually show up." She was basically saying that - if you are useful, I will keep your child. If not, wait to hear from me to reject. This approach is not in line with proper childcare practices and can be significantly distressing for parents. Since they were accepted as a 3K school, they added numerous extra days off following the DOE schedule to daycare babies who are not part of DOE program and paying monthly tuition of $$$$. Also, they often reduce the daily hours with no good reasons. For the summer this year in 2023 as an example, they notified parents 2 weeks before that they would operate 1.5 hours less. Right before the last month at this daycare, we realized that we've been paying more than we had to for over 6 months. It's because they charge less for 3 YO vs. 2YO and my child turned 3 this year. When we raised the issue via text, the director quickly FORGED a paper with increased tuition. What she forgot to perfectly forge was the "revised date" which was even earlier date than my child started going there. Since we had only 1 month left there, we let it slide. The director is completely dishonest and unprofessional. I hardly saw the director in person. I saw her less than 5 time within 16 months. And it seems that the director prioritizes financial considerations, as evidenced by the example above and cashing my monthly check on the day it is received, rather than adhering to a standard schedule. This behavior suggests a strong focus on money rather than the well-being of the children Basement Location It is worth noting that the daycare operates in a basement location. I strongly suggest to tour first before sending babies here. With all of these craziness, why did I send my baby for 16 months? It's only because this was the only fulltime (8-6pm) daycare with availability in my neighborhood for working parents. I was on the waitlist for a couple of other good daycares in FH but never heard back since they were in high demand. Fortunately, I'm not sending my baby here for his 3K. I didn't even list this school.

Pros: "Some" teachers are good.
Cons:
Lack of communication & miscommunication:
I'VE NEVER RECEIVED ANY DAILY REPORT FOR 16 MONTHS about my child's activities, meals, development, or social interactions.
Basement Location
It is worth noting that the daycare operates in a basement location. I strongly suggest to tour first before sending babies here.
