Angelo took on a monster job and at an amazing price. Recently purchased a 2006 911 (997.1) Porsche S from Cali which was purchased sight unseen. New it had PPF on it which one would think is great but it was well over a decade old 3M version which looked horrible. Was all cracked, discolored, etc. Got a ton of quotes from spots all over including NJ, CT, Long Island and of course Queens. Spoke with him on the phone, told him was on budget cause the PPI on the car came in with a ton of mechanical maintenance I must do. Explained to him protection from other cars was my priority more so than stone chips. Want to drive this car not garage it. So street parking needs front and rear bumpers covered. Work and home (apt) parking needs doors wrapped cause cars are on either side tight. We worked out a deal on the install, then after finding his Insta noticed car audio, so asked if he could do a bluetooth install too. He was more than knowledgeable on that for this exact model car so, added that job too. Unfortunately the jury is out on that but not on him, damn car needs to be coded by a dealer tool, car doesn't have fiber (MOST) gateway enabled. Hoping to resolve that on my own this weekend or am returning the Ebay bluetooth module for a better supported one by RennKit. After removing the 3M wrap he showed me color no longer matched cause back when, 3M had UV filtering which caused paint under it to not age like the rest of the car. To combat that he wet sanded to match paint and wrapped a hair above (not below) the old wrap. The combo of both made what once looked off, invisible and uniform. Came out perfect. He wrapped a ton, bumpers, full doors tucked into panels so no seam can be seen/felt at all locations. My other cars were done with precut which show seams all over, he doesn't do precut and I've learned the end result is a ton nicer for the discerning eye. He did inner wheel wells in spots he knows get beat on by rocks because he said the condition of the car was excellent and worth doing. Also the area before the rear wheel which he said gets a lot of rock damage and was wrapped by Porsche directly but was disgustingly yellow. He put on more coverage than was there previously and added no cost for the odds and ends. Amazing. Almost forgot he fixed the mounts for the hood emblem too, helped install front license plate cause screw size I purchased was wrong. He is going to be my wrapper going forward and car audio. Might come back down the road to do a ceramic coating. My old wrapper jacked prices up through the roof (last time used him was 5 years ago), never put this level of effort or detail into each item either.
