In an industry fraught with poor response to client needs, questionable practices and and untrained personnel, Family Care rises to the top. Aides who are employed by the agency are top notch, some of whom have training above and beyond the adequate level for aides. In five years, we have consistently received superior and reliable personnel. Any change of aides was because they were stolen away as they were in demand! Perhaps the most unusual aspect was the sensitivity of the director Flo and his ability to work with you to satisfy your needs. First, he could always be reached, returning calls and texts quickly. Secondly, he always did his best, often informing you of schedule or other changes before you knew about them. Third, he was ALWAYS courteous and polite and sensitive to an elders needs. Really, I cant say enough good things about Family Care. I would use them in a minute if the need arose again.

Allan De Guzman was hired to work for us for three months until the end of April. . So far he has worked for us for seven weeks. He was hired to provide total care--12 hours /day to my companion, Dr. Nicholas Zervas, who has limited mobility. Allan has exceeded all expectations in this area. Dkr. Zervas has grown very fond of him and totally trusts himself to Allan's care. I think one could not have a better or more compassionate caregiver than Allan. He is also very helpful around the house and dresses Dr. Zervas, makes his bed and generally makes sure he is neat and clean everyday. If there is one area of improvement, it is Allan's judgment. He is somewhat immature but if given clear instructions, he tends to follow them. Allan would be a great asset to any household that would employ him. He has both mine and Dr. Zervas' strongest recommendation.

Whenever I have an emergency and need good reliable care for my elderly sister, Family Care Senior Services rises to the occasion. During the early months of the Covid crises, all of my in home care people resigned. Within days, Flo was able to put together a new crew and schedule. And, the women who worked for us were the absolute best! They followed safety protocalls, minimized outside contacts, and treated my sister with extraordinary patience. Truly a professional organization!

Flo arranged for a wonderful Home Health Aid for my husband. Due to our family being very high risk during Covid, having different aids come and go was not an option. Our aid helps with all needs, is always pleasant about everything and is knowledgeable and able to help with my husband's multiple medical complications.
