I am a family member of a patient at this Rehab. I had mixed feelings about this place but after seeing the results I am convinced that Recovery is definitely possible for those who truly want it. The mother of my children came home after completing 28 days and I was impressed at what I saw. She came home with so much information and honestly looked and sounded like a complete different person. I'm guessing the food is good because she gained 20 pounds in 28 days. She also joined NA 12 step program after completing her 28 days. Special thanks to Maria Arazamendi for taking time to help those who really want to recover. I also heard great things about Julius the Clinical Coordinator on the third floor. If you are serious about your recovery I can tell you this is the place to start. They came to pick her up right away and it wasn't a long process like other places.

I called to SC a pickup for myself, and the receptionist informed me, no beds for detox or rehab at the moment. That there were others waiting on the lobby waiting on a open bed. So I asked how many people are supposed be medically discharged from Detox, compared to the the people in the lobby and you will have an idea if we will be able to have a bed before 4PM. Her answer just left me amazed. "Everyone who has the be discharged got discharged, we hoping someoneleave A.M.A (Against medical advice) to start filling beds" No one in the lobby had an idea they were no beds and that some of them of not all, will end up going back in the streets. Why not tell us earlier, so we could look for an alternate Detox. This is a $$ industry. Not too much for the patients. Check out this Yelp review for Cornerstone of Medical Arts Center Hospital! I was degraded, humiliated and ashamed in front of all there. From Mr.Labarca to Ms.Kelly Green. Julius accused me of using drugs on a suspicion, even me having no signs of intoxication. Was subjected to an involuntary strip search, and when refused to do so, was told I was getting kicked out if I didn't. I will never go again. Don't recommend to anyone. Not Even my worse enemy. Mr. Wexler and Mr. Emery are professionals at all time. Mr, Serrano, nope, hypocrite just Mr. Labarca. Just wanted me to delete this review, never met them until I made a bad review. Horrible people.

Cornerstone was a very educative and transforming rehab experience for me, even though at first it was difficult for me because I was a raging cajun, with an alcohol and edibles problem. But some staff there did really care about me regaining control, sobriety and recovering like Maria Padilla in intake, counselors in rehab like Patricia, John Ricks, Jenkins Julieka I still have your markers, Janice the nursing staff Michelle & Shayna may have spelt that wrong but you know the vibes, cant forget director Maria from 2nd floor and Julius my guy whom I still have to go one on one with bro, I was able to take positivity from the program and was able to change my behaviors and mindset there, also Im the peoples champ so I still help people there til this day. Also my gratitude and appreciation goes to Camelia Kemp whom when I first met was arts and crafts lady, but helped me every chance she could. Respectfully P aka Big Man.

Horrific!!! My partner went here and was neglected for DAYS!! They assigned him a social worker who was out of office the entire time he was there and he had to beg to see someone just so that he could be discharged. There was no therapy, no group therapy, no books. They told him he would be allowed to keep his clothes but took them the first day and didn't give them back. Staff were rude and nasty and seemed bothered when he asked for help or even an extra bag of chips. He met other people there who claimed they had been waiting for months to go to rehab but they couldn't figure out where to put them. This place needs to be condemned. Awful.
