Avis Car Rental

Horrible and Racist! When I first got there the door was locked at 4pm in the afternoon Bald guy at front desk swiped my debit card and told me I didn't have enough money, when I clearly did! Then he told me that I failed the Credit check! If you are NOT Italian Check Elsewhere!!!!

Poor customer service. Tried to extend for one day over the phone and they were trying to charge 168 for one day.

The Farmingdale NY AVIS location rented me a car with a bad tire. I drove several miles, and the tire busted.. The rep that rented me the car knew something was wrong with the vehicle and still decided to rent it? putting myself and 3 children in a dangerous vehicle. I called Avis Roadside assistance and wait 5 hours to tow their vehicle before they brought me another rental from JFK. And no one has thief corporate number to make a complaint.. The worst rental experience ever.

By far the worst customer service imaginable. No help, they dont answer their phone had an issue with payment as I lost my wallet and the guy just re-did it on the card I said is cancelled. Then when I say it he just says, well I did it so seems fine to me. - realize after that it didnt post and he just didnt care. Pathetic. Have to drive 50 miles to deal with someone who cant answer their phone then act like they answer it when youre there as I see the phone ring twice with nobody answering it. The guy there is devoid of any emotion, just depressing experience all around. Do better, man.
