        Called to make an appointment and was told by office a couple months ago the doctor had had surgery and I would receive call back when he returned. I called again today and was told he was still out and there was no tentative return date. Can anyone on here suggest another ophthalmologist that is local?

        Dr. Viola is the consummate professional. I can't speak highly enough of him - knowledgeable, experienced and a straight shooter. I just called his office to ask a non-urgent question and he got back to me within a few mins! He's the best!!

        I didn't know Dr.'s like this still existed. Dr. Viola took his time, explained everything to me in English, not fancy medical terms I didn't understand and treated me with respect. I wasn't just another patient to him. His staff was so kind and helpful. The optical shop has a nice, current variety of glasses and I got them quick. I liked them so much, I went back and ordered sunglasses too. No long wait in the waiting room either. Definitely recommending him to my friends.

      I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. This was not our intent Last fall, I was told by my doctor that I needed surgery, the sooner, the better. I was told that recovery would take months, no guarantee. When I realized that I couldn't perform at 100% every day I closed my schedule with the intent to reopen it as soon as my doctor cleared me. So far, that has not happened andhe has told me that it will be many more months before I'm fully healed Please call my office again and explain what you need. We have several other doctors who have offered to help. We can try to figure out an appropriate solution for you.
