This is the second year Ive worked with Glenn. He is amicable, a real people person. He is professional and does excellent work. Ill keep coming back to Glenn.

Go literally anywhere else. This was our second year going to Surita. Last year she had told us to upload our documents in advance, so that she could get a head start. This year we uploaded the majority of our documents prior to our appointment but she had not bothered to look. When we sat down for our appointment she had someone elses tax information on the screen, we handed her a couple of documents that we received in the mail and she told us that our taxes sounded complicated. Surita then told us we needed to come back later so she could have some time to take care of it. I asked her why and she laughed in my face telling me in a condescending tone that it was a busy time of year. Without any other option provided we left and came back 2 hours later. Upon arrival at our second appointment Surita had her lunch all over her desk, while we waited for her to finish chewing and cleaning up her desk, I noticed another persons personal tax information was on the screen. Surita had completed our taxes without us being present and started to review them with us. While going over everything she said that she added the forms from an aunt or grandmother or whatever when referencing an immediate family members recent passing mentioned earlier to her. At the end she did not explain the cost, only proclaimed the total that we owed for this service, we asked to review the cost and she begrudgingly did. That is when we learned that certain forms cost additional money to be input, she added them increasing the cost, without our prior consent. As a note this was a net positive financial tax year for us but this appointment felt like it was a significant burden on Surita to take care of, overall she was condescending, rude, and disrespectful of a recent death in the family. I would highly recommend going anywhere else if you are concerned about your privacy and enjoy any kind of transparency in your pricing.
