    The one fellow who works there is so nasty and condescending that he makes the whole interaction unpleasant. If you are into abusive treatment, this place might be ok.

    Flat tire after 10 pm on a Sunday night. I was visiting my parents, so my car was in their driveway. Parents knew of Sals Service Center and called to see if someone could come over to change the tire. Bob arrived promptly. He was helpful in advising me how to find model of tire (he had me take photos) and how to compare prices, etc. very quick service. Personable man. I drove safely home.

    I highly recommend Sal's service if you want excellent and prompt service at reasonable prices. My car needed extensive maintenance checkup and they did it all at a reasonable cost. Services: Battery service, Tires, Auto maintenance, Oil change

    In order to get our Tesla registered in NYS, we needed to get our car inspected for the insurance company. My wife called Sal's Service Center and they originally told her "Rain or Shine" and that all they would have to do is inspect it for damages and to just have the car clean for pictures. And they said there was no need for an appointment and to just call 10 minutes ahead of time. Because we both work 9-5 jobs, I had to go there on Saturday. I arrived walked in and asked them if they are able to do the inspection and I informed them that my wife called previously about this. There were two men behind the counter, they both turned and looked at me like I had 5 heads. Extremely unwelcoming, and just based off that look I knew this was going to be an issue. The first guy said, "Well do you have an appointment". I explained to him that my wife called earlier in the week and whoever she spoke to informed her that an appointment was not needed for this type of service, since it requires about 5.5 mins of their time to take 3 pictures of my car. And that the person she spoke to told her to simply call 10 minutes ahead and that will be sufficient. Mind you I was running errands and completely forgot to call ahead of time, but I informed them I didnt mind waiting for around until they were available to spare a few minutes for my car. The second guy in the back, again started giving me attitude and said "No" like it was out of the question and preposterous that I was even asking them if they could do this service for me. His reason was that "we have to take pictures of your car so it can't be raining or snowing outside". Mind you it was the clearest sunniest day its been in about 2 weeks. The sky was clear with not a cloud in sight. I looked outside and replied, "But its not raining or snowing and its a clear to the point where it definitely wont effect your pictures." The 2nd guy replied, "Well its cold outside. I am not going to stand over your car in 17 degree weather just to take pictures for you." At that point I knew these guys weren't going to honor what they said over the phone, so I just walked out. But because of that my 7 month pregnant wife had to call in sick that Monday to drive the car to a different shop that was nice enough to do the inspection for us. She informed me that all they did was literally take 3 pictures of the car and it took about 2 and a half minutes, probably closer to a minute flat. I truly hope this was just a fluke and these guys aren't like this with everyone, but judging by the way I was treated, I sincerely doubt it. I will never be going back to this place for any type of service and would urge against anyone doing the same.
