EDIT 3/10/24: I no longer have any complaints about here, besides their prices. I have visited this particular location about 15 times since my last review and everything that I had a problem with has since been fixed (including the stale chips!). They also no longer forget anything in my orders which is amazing. I did have to remind them once before I left the store that they forgot to give me a cup for my drink, but other than that, it's been great coming here. ORIGINAL REVIEW: 3 days ago I ordered Chipotle for the first time. I was attracted by the free chips and queso that they offered for my birthday and decided I would finally give it a try. Generally speaking, Chipotle's prices are insane ESPECIALLY when you consider that this particular Chipotle is in a neighborhood where you can get tacos and burritos for so much cheaper in hundreds of places. Starting off with the good, the barbacoa tacos with hard shells were AMAZING. They were really tasty and I really enjoyed them. They definitely didn't add the green chilli salsa though because they weren't spicy at all and no sauce/salsa was visible. The salad was pretty decent, but I find it difficult to call it a salad when there's barely any lettuce in it. It's just a thin bed of lettuce piled high with the other ingredients. It's hardly different from a burrito bowl. Heck, even my tacos had more lettuce (which by the way, was strangely tossed on top of all 3 tacos instead of going INSIDE each taco). Also, they almost forgot the dressing and stopped me before I was leaving to give it to me which was nice of them, but this part is a bit more relevant if you keep reading. The organic berry agua fresca was really good as well. No complaints there. OKAY, now for the bad. The chips and queso (the thing that literally got me to go there in the first place) was a huge disappointment. The chips were VERY stale. I figured something as stupid as that wouldn't happen in a Chipotle, but I read the other reviews and it has happened to other people too soooo???As for the queso, it wasn't terrible because I'm not really a picky eater but I can see why someone might not like it. The consistency is more like a chowder. Luckily, I complained about the stale chips in the app and within minutes, I got a reply with a free chips and queso reward added to my account. That's great and all, but that's not going to help if I go back and get stale chips again? Okay remember how they forgot the salsa on my tacos and then almost forgot the salad dressing? I placed another order at night from this same location and went to pick it up and they DIDN'T ADD THE SALSA to the burrito bowl. Why are they so forgetful about the sauces??? The burrito bowls are so dry without a sauce and if you complain in the app, they'll send you an offer for free chips and queso again which circles back to the stales chips problem. I had high hopes for this Chipotle given that it opened up in an extremely competitive location, but my overall experience here was pretty disappointing.
