        Dr. Pamela Weber, Island Retina, performed a vitrectomy on my right eye that had a very large floater, which Dr. Weber described as a "octopus", as it was large and string like. I had this floater for almost 4 years and it was quite debilitating and seriously affected my vision particularly driving and in conversations, as there was constant floater movement. Other ophthalmologist's were not willing or capable of fixing this floater including renowned doctors at the NY Eye and Ear. As a last try I made an appointment with Dr Weber who fully understood how this floater was affecting my sight and I must say my sanity to some extent. To my surprise Dr. Weber stated that she could perform a vitrectomy and fix my eye. I agreed and scheduled the procedure. After the procedure within a couple of days I knew that my floater was completely gone, and now 4 months later my eye is perfect! Dr. Pamela Weber and her professional staff were and are life changers for me. I cannot thank her enough, and I whole heartedly recommend Island Retina and Dr. Pamela Weber. She is truly an outstanding ophthalmologist. Thank you very much!
