We had the unfortunate occasion of having to work with Jason Hover and his paralegal Hillary as they represented the seller in our home purchase. Not only did we find them to be rude and petty, their work on the very simple cash purchase had multiple mistakes.
~The closing statement was calculated incorrectly, to their client's disadvantage, and provided less than 24 hours before our closing appointment. (I didn't bother pointing it out as I was sick of snarky responses)
~They misspelled my name on the deed. (Also, didn't bother to get it corrected with them due to bad attitudes)
~Along with my husband's name, they included my name on the paperwork after we asked them not to since they were unwilling to facilitate a remote signature. (We anticipated it and made alternative arrangements unbeknownst to them)
~We even had to go to their bank branch and deposit our cashier's check into their account ourselves as they requested a wire transfer last minute, knowing we already had the cashiers check in our procession and were traveling from out of state. (The cashier's check was immediately funded to their account just as the wire transfer would have been).
It was by far the worst experience that we have ever had with a law office in our personal or professional lives.
