We were looking for a spa & after looking at 3 different places, we found the personal & products to be exactly what we were looking for. My sore old body enjoys a 30-minute soak almost every night.

I am a newcomer to Crystal Clear Pools and Spas having just recently purchased a hot tub from them. Before I made the purchase, I visited three local pool and spa stores to do a little comparative shopping. My first impression of Crystal Clear P & S was they did not have the corporate feel of the other two places I had visited that day. They were owned by two brothers who struck me as real and down to earth people. They offered me a far better deal than any other offer I had gotten that day. Being a natural born pessimist, of course I was concerned about how well they would be of service to me in maintaining my tub. The tub delivery and removal of my old tub was was on time, efficient, and friendly. They looked like they knew what they were doing! Before all the troubles with my old tub, I had been a daily hot tub user for anxiety management.. Being without was clearly wearing thin. So after a month or two without a hot tub, I was psyched that I would soon be back in business. The electric company had come and wired up the tub. Now all I needed was for temperatures to rise above freezing for a 3 or 4 day stretch so I could fill the tub and let it warm up before the next freeze. That day finally arrived, Unfortunately, before I even was able to use the tub I ran into a problem. One of the circuit breakers to the tub tripped immediately when I switched it on. I was freaking out with all kinds of imagined scenarios of frozen tub plumbing or having to drain and winterize the tub while the electrical problem was addressed I was encouraged, however, when the electrical company agreed to come back the next day after I called them to diagnose the problem. Fear and frustration set in again soon though as their follow up visit and investigation of the problem revealed no electrical problem related to their work Their analysis was that the problem was with the hot tub itself. They surmised that the hot tub circuit board, pump, or lighting circuitry was the problem. Oh no, would Crystal Clear P & S help!? And quickly before the weather went cold again? Would it be additional weeks while a new circuit board or pump was ordered and installed? My concern about how well my hot tub would be serviced was about to be tested. It was 8:15 in the morning when the electric company left. And Crystal was closed that day. However, they had given me a cell phone number for Jim, one of the brothers. I hate calling someone's cell phone number that early in the day, but out of desperation I did anyhow. If Jim was a late sleeper he would have turned his phone off, right? Wow, he answered the phone and was at my house by 12:45 that same day. It took him about five minutes to discover that the two bare ends of the hot and neutral wires from the 30A breaker were touching each other where they were screwed into the hot tub panel. He turned the tub on and my heart took off. In five minutes, he had solved a problem that a local, reputable electric company had missed. Twice they missed it. I have a new hero and his name is Jim Rushford. He and his brother Pete at Crystal Clear Pools and Spas are there to help.

Love our new tub. We had a little trouble on start up. The owner gave us his cell number on delivery and said "call when you're setting it up if you have any questions" After he kindly walked us through trouble shooting on New Years day, it ended up being an unplugged wire on the control board. We highly recommend them, quality tubs, amazing owners and service is second to none!

Very happy to work with Jim at the Cicero location. In person and over the phone, he was communicative, efficient, knowledgeable and personable. We are excited to enjoy our new hot tub.

After a few rough years of injuries and after contemplating the benefits of purchasing a hot tub, we found ourselves in the market. Not knowing exactly what we wanted or needed and hesitant to make the leap, we followed the advice of a family member who lead us right to crystal clear. We made the stop and talked to Pete, he explained to us the differences and laid out some options. We came home, not wanting to settle on the first one we saw, went to another business and after a disappointing experience there went right back to where we started. We met Jim that day, he was phenomenal. He listened to our needs, our concerns and addressed them. We talked about maintenance and upkeep, he even came to the house and pre measured the route and space to ensure a great fit. We are very pleased with our new hot tub, our kids love it and both Jim, Pete and the rest of the staff were pleasant and accommodating ! Thank you so much for all your help! I couldnt recommend any better place to help with this venture !!!
