Kids were on break so we thought we'd stop in after jumping at Get Air and check this new concept of the 'Eatery' out. We ordered slices of pizza and burgers. The place was practically empty but our food took almost 30+ minutes to come out which didnt make sense. It definitely wasn't worth the wait. Mediocre diner food. Our server Victoria was really awkward and acted like we were a bother. Not to mention her hair was down the entire time which is just gross. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon. Could've gone down the road to Tully's for better food and a better price

So over the last few months this place has had its ups and its Downs with quality Control . They have Hired a New Cooking staff Recently we gave it another try. Excellent . If you had a bad Experience give it another try the new Cooks are on Point. In Life you gotta Crawl before you walk and walk before you talk on the mend keep on trucking.

The cheeseburger nachos will change your life. Lot of really good options all in one place. Shakes and drinks are also amazing, highly recommend the wild berry pop tart shake.

An eatery is an opportunity to offer diverse foods in one location. Why not host 4 ethnically diverse restaurants here instead of 4 clones of bland American eateries? What does this eatery add to the depressing row of fast food chains, shopping plazas, and car washes that makes up the landscape of Cicero? This could be a miniature version of downtown's Salt City Market. That is my business proposal for if this eatery goes down under.
As for the food, I tried Modern Malt. The food placed in front of me tried its best to bribe me with its presentation, "Please, please! Get excited and say how Instagrammable the food looks and take a picture!" However when I took off my rose-tinted glasses and tasted the food objectively, I found it to be completely average diner food. If you want good quality diner food that doesn't try to pretend it is something it isn't, go to Stella's instead.
