Wouldnt let us schedule until they had medical records sent over from previous pediatrician. Got it sent over, and they still knew nothing about my childs medical history. Tried to talk to doctor about concerns at annual, told me it wasnt the appointment for it. Brought child back again and explained to receptionist why I was coming in. Saw PA this time and again they tried to tell me this wasnt the appointment for what I needed. This office is money hungry and very weird. They also have a history of calling CPS on families. They did mine, the senior doctor of the ER actually apologized and agreed this pediatrician and the way they handled everything was completely inappropriate. They will also harass you. Take your child somewhere else, I wish had when I got bad vibes in the very beginning.

In 2020, My husband and I noticed our daughters left eye wandering outward at nearly 16 months old. We were concerned so we made an appointment with Dr. Terasaka in which they could see us about a week later, we were told it looks like a lazy eye and the most a specialist will probably do is patch the good eye and that they have seen worse. They said my daughter looks like she has different shaped eyes and it may look like her eye is drifting but he will refer us to a specialist if we wanted, which of course we did. We were then referred to Dr. Merriam at upstate who found a congenital unilateral cataract immediately. We were told she needed surgery within the next 2-3 weeks to prevent vision loss in her left eye and referred us to another specialist at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester an hour and a half away who will be operating on her eye. At 19 months old, her surgery was done and it was then noted she was born with this cataract by the name of persistent fetal vasculature. It took 18 months to diagnose my daughter with a cataract she was born with and nobody caught it. The hospital she was born at, her pediatrician, and the 4 other nurse practitioners at Wee Care she saw did not catch this cataract. When she went in for her 12 month eye exam, their equipment wasnt working and my daughter who was 12 months old at the time, wasnt happy to keep trying to sit still during the several attempts to get an eye exam done, so they said her eyes look good and that was that. I believe her doctors have failed her in diagnosing her condition and may have caused long term damage to her eye in which she may never be able to regain back to normal vision versus if it was caught early on, her prognosis would be better predicted. I have sat on this debating to write a review but I believe other parents have a right to know the good and the bad about choosing this clinic as their childrens pediatrician.
