    I had not visited Audi Cicero for many years. My battery light appeared on my dashboard while I was on the Thruway driving to Syracuse from New Hartford. After pulling into a rest area and reading the car manual, I decided to call the dealership. Fortunately, the telephone receptionist in service who handled my call responded to my request to speak to a service representative, who, luckily, turned out to be Pete. How serious could it be? SERIOUS! Pete convinced me to bring the car in at once, if not to have the car towed in. I risked driving in, and just as I entered the plaza at Driver's Village where the Audi Cicero dealership calls its home, my car started to warn me that its systems were shutting down, including the automatic transmission (this was something that Pete said might happen). It was extremely scary. I was still able to drive the car to the Audi dealership, for which I thank the Audi's design and safety systems. Because I had an appointment in Syracuse that day, when I spoke to Pete about my problem, I had also asked him for help on a loaner; while no loaners were available, he made arrangements for a rental car at Platinum Rent-A-Car at Driver's Village. [I called my appointment and told them I had car trouble and would be about late, 30 min. to an hour.] When I walked into the dealership, Pete was ready for me, I gave him my keys, and he personally guided me to Platinum Rent-A-Car where a car was waiting for me to drive to my appointment in Syracuse; I arrived only 30 minutes late for my appointment, and managed to salvage the rest of the day. When my car was ready a couple of days later (the generator had to be ordered and then was replaced under warranty, and the 40,000 mile service was also performed at my request), I dropped off the rental car (which had been paid for by the dealership) and picked up my car. Pete probably saved my life, or at least turned a serious problem into a great solution. I was very happy with the customer service I received at Audi Cicero, to say the least.
