All potential buyers Please read & beware of this shop. I purchased a 07 Kia Sportage 2 weeks ago. It sounded like a good deal, I went to check it out & everything seemed good. Im not a mechanic but I am mechanically inclined, generally repairing car problems myself ( minus body / transmission / replacing engines). however I should have known something was wrong when it didnt have a dealer plate on, forcing me to only test drive it in the parking lot. After the 2 minute test drive I put down a deposit and was told I could pick it up in the morning. Once I paid for it & took it off the lot I quickly realized once the engine heated up the AC blower motor shut off and barely blew out air. When I stoped driving and hit the lock button I realized the motor for the driver side door was dead. The 2nd day I had it when I turned it on I had 2 lights pop up on the dash (1) saying airbag & (2) saying passenger side air bag off. The only problem I was informed about was that the hatch had a problem with the locking mechanism, which they told me they would fix once the part came in. It has now been almost 3 weeks, today I took it in thinking these problems would be fixed & I was told they fixed the hatch but nothing else was covered under the 30 day or 1000 mile warranty . They only partially fixed the hatch, if I want to use it I have to hit the unlock button on the driver door, the lock on the hatch is still busted you cant fit any key in it at all. Plus they want to charge me to fix both the driver & passenger air bag plus the motor in the driver side door. If that was wasnt bad enough the day after I got it back I came outside to find my front passenger tire flat, I didnt think to much of it until I put the spare tire on & that was completely flat. When I took my car into get the tire fixed they told me my front ball joints were so corroded that if I hit a bump they are liable to snap and theirs no way they should have passed it for inspection. The day I was going to pick it up, I was actually driving behind the suv I was buying for several miles. They told me they had to take it to the Kia dealer to check it out & the gas station to fill it up. Yet it had been driven over 30miles more than when I was in it the night before. If you look at the distance between KDs auto & the Kia dealer on Sheridan its 7.2 miles between them so round trip is still less than 1/2 the miles they put on the car. Not to mention they told me the Kia dealer did the inspection when in fact they did it themself that morning I picked up the car. ****KDs automotive also go by RV unlimited both located on 4938 Genesee st Cheektowaga ny 14225.**** They currently have cars / Suvs on craigslist... ALL buyers beware !

I purchased a Chevy Equinox from Kd's. They were very quick to respond, and great with communicating from start to finish. They were very flexible and matched my schedule to be able to come look at the car and then again when I came to purchase it a different day. They are honest and very willing to help with anything needed during the purchasing process. I would highly recommend purchasing your vehicle from them!
