My husband and I came here when it initially opened and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, service was good, and the atmosphere rocked. Because of our positive experience, we decided to come back here on 4/6 with some family members. However, the service and food were definitely not up to par this time. The service was the most disappointing part of our experience yesterday. We initially had a male server cook our food and although he was very nice, he often look too long to come back to our table to check on the meat. Because of this, some of our meat burned. I politely asked him if we (the customers) should be turning it ourselves, to which he responded no, as the servers would be assisting us instead. This made sense, as our food was taken care of my staff the first time we visited as well. Despite messing up the food the first time, they took too long to come to us again the second time. This time, it almost seemed as though our food was not cooking much at all actually. We called a server yet again to assist us. This time it was an older lady who had actually assisted us during our first visit. After she turned up the heat of the grill, she proceeded to tell us how we (the customers) are supposed to turn the meat over and take it off the grill as per our liking, or else the meat wont cook. This made no sense, as we clearly saw her turn up the grills temperature. Not only that, but I had made it a point to ask a different server if we were supposed to turn the meat ourselves, to which he responded no. If this female server wasnt so rude about the way she handled this even after they already messed up the first time, we would not have been as disappointed with our second experience here. The restaurant was much busier the first time we came, with better service. Its possible they had less staff-to-customer ratio this time around, but i dont believe that excuses the 180 degree turn in customer service. We ended up cooking the last batch ourselves as no one else came by after that. Overall, its unlikely we will come back, which is very disappointing as we really liked the restaurant the first time around.
