Looks cool for sure, watch your step because there is broken glass everywhere. Lots of graffiti and trash. Inside the quarry was pretty cool. Saw a gun on the ground, and lots of no parking signs. Kinda underwhelming.

Oh, goodness, this was a creepy place to visit. If you love ghost stories, this would be a good place to visit. Split Rock, a hazardous munitions plant, unexpectedly exploded in 1918, brutally killing more than 50 men. It's filled with grafitti now, lots of riders around, inside dark and a bit unsettling towards the back.

Peace to those fifty-two men who perished here defending freedom second July nineteen-eighteen. What a great place to explore. I can remember visiting this place in the mid- 1990s looking around and feeling certain that I had left planet Earth and had arrived alone with only my Mongoose BMX on this new planet covered in mostly rock. Just then I couldnt help but ask myself, I said to myself: Self, How would I manage to tackle the Herculean task that inevitably lie ahead? How I could ever repopulate this new world has been nagging my thoughts ever since my visit here all of those nearly thirty years gone by. You can tell there has been a tragedy here by the way it feels. Im not sure if there were or were not some kind of hobos living in there but you definitely dont feel alone when youre inside the tunnels. Im definitely a better person after visiting.
