Azteca Mexican Grill

The first few rimes I went I fell in love.the food was amazinh.the caso sauce was the best I ever had.however.sadly the last few times I have been very disappointed. The case has been very watery I mean really watery.

The food was ok. I am comparing it to places like Mi Cocina and Los Volcanes in Bowling Green though, and that's probably not fair. It's definitely Americanized Mexican. The salsa was delicious. I didn't get all the flavor in my al pastor that I'm used to. My boys absolutely loved the sopapillas and flan. Our server was excellent: friendly and attentive. I'd go back for the service for sure!

I went during lunch around 1 pm and placed an order for to-go. I can't fairly rate the atmosphere as it was dead inside, but it looked chill. The bartender who serviced me was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Perfect service. I ordered the Burrito Mexicano. It came out in about 5 minutes, which was great. But the food was cold. The beef tips were tender and seasoned well, but lukewarm at best. Borderline cold. As was the melted cheese, which was definitely cold. I'd suggest if you want to order to-go, have the time to walk in and make sure the place is busier, and maybe the food will come out hot. Either that or order a different dish than I did.

I love this place. It's a well-established Mexican restaurant that serves great food and drinks at a reasonable price.
