I went in not knowing much about the museum, and was pleasantly surprised by everything I saw! The exhibits were gorgeous and informative. The interactive exhibits were some of the best and most entertaining I've seen. Perfect for a family day or a date! The best part was the EBT card holders get in for free!

The experience is amazing and all of the exhibits were wonderful. I do wish there was more to the gift shop though!

We've been coming to the museum for about 30 years, and have been very pleased with the directions that they have been developing in. They still have a few of the hand-made dioramas and models from the 50s-70s, but so much of the museum has been revamped and updated. They have a couple of large interactive, explorative, play space for littler kids, and some cool interactive climate change related areas and games for older kids (and adults). A lot of the permanent exhibits showcase the variety of the collections, and they are always getting travelling exhibits, so there's always something interesting.

If you're a science buff, I would say it's a good place. I'm not and quite a few exhibits were unavailable because of new arrangements. Not enough seating for viewing anything for longer periods and the galaxy cafe workers (some of them) are subpar. No gift shop when I went. Definitely not worth the price of admission for me.
