The Magis group recently purchased the house I am renting and I couldnt recommend them less as a landlord. As a renter for the last 15 years of my life their communication has been the worst Ive dealt with. When asking what the plan was for snow removal in the middle of a storm I did not get response for close to 24 hours. Mind you this was 1 week after receiving a cheery text message with a number to use if we had any questions or concerns. One week after a discussion with Magis asking for better communication they failed to respond to the same concern about snow removal after 6 hours and with night time approaching I reached out to their emergency number who assured that snow would be cleared by 6 am. By noon the following day no snow was removed and their response was we ask for patience and appreciate any help from tenants during major snow storms while still not providing a rough update when they might be able to get to the snow. More importantly both times we were happy to shovel if need be so we could move on with our lives but could not get a straight answer or an answer at all till well after the snowfall. Im hoping I can update this with some positive improvements in the future. In regards to the below response from Magis this further shows their lack of communication. They continue to state how a major snow storm is somehow stopping then from making a call or sending a text when in reality Magis was the one to promise snow removal by 6am the following morning and was unable to deliver. They simply needed to state they were unable to have snow removed by that time and I would have been happy to shovel. Due to them promising this and not being able to deliver on this promise I was unable to make it into the hospital for my job. Magis continues to not understand this is an issue of communication and not snow removal which I value from landlord as a tenant but maybe they dont share similar values.

I submitted an application with my personal information, they immediately took the application fee. I have not heard from ANYONE regarding my application. When I called it sounded like the guy was just home and I was calling his cell phone, he told me they would reach out at some point. That hasn't happened. DO NOT PROVIDE THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFO OR CARD INFORMATION.
