Oscar, All of our images that we post on-line have our studio logo (watermark) on them. The reason for this is because people take screen shots of the image and make up their own photos. The watermark-logo helps to deter this from happening.We ask the children for a smile, however we can not make them smile, and with the photographer wearing masks, the students can not see us smile which sometimes helps them replicate what we are trying to get as an expression from them.There is a retake scheduled at their school on October 19, from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, they can have their photos retaken that day. If they are coming in that day, maybe you could encourage them to smile for our photographer.I did notice that you have done many reviews on-line and only give out 1 star reviews. I hope in the future if a company does something good, you'd give a good review and not just give out bad reviews. We work hard to do the best job possible, and know that sometimes circumstances happen that we are not able to capture the best expression possible, and that can be our fault and can also be a situation where a child is nervous or uneasy about having their photo taken.Hope to see your children next week.Best,Herrmann Studio
