Was solid. Nothing special but it was cool Nearby activities: The chip strip is right there. Tons of bars and restaurants right there.

The room, common areas and local staff were nice. If you are staying here because of the pool and/or hot tub I would recommend you verify it's open and working. The hot tub was closed during our stay with no warning or notice. It was too late to stay somewhere else by the time we went to use the hot tub in the evening and realized it wasn't working. I know this may seem trivial to some but it was the main reason we spent extra on a hotel with a hot tub and pool. We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from home and during a cold Buffalo winter weekend sitting in the hot tub and pool with a cold drink seemed very nice. We were not able to do this. The pool was also cold and we were unable to use it for more than 10 or 15 minutes. We could have spent less than half at a different hotel with no pool or hot tub and had a better experience rather than the disappointing experience we had here. Reaching out to customer service resulted in an insulting refund amount and no true resolution. I expected more out of a name brand hotel group.
