Aloft Buffalo Airport

I stayed here because it has the best view in all of New York. It faces the beautiful Hertz overflow lot where they store their beat down moving trucks. This is close enough to the airport that you can go to sleep to the sounds of jets taking off and landing. I loved the view and the sounds. 10/100

Stayed here for a night and no complaint. Its a very typical aloft hotel with a hip and fun lobby. However, the room is slightly dated, but with a huge bathroom. I got a room with two queen beds, the mattress firmness is rather different so I picked the right one for the night. The location is quite typical for an airport hotel, though it is a really short walk to the airport terminal without issue. Theres a McDonalds right near the hotel if you craves for fast food!

Every hotel should inform guests upon check-in if a hockey (and kids' sports team) is staying in the hotel! Guests should be placed on the highest floor (if they are comfortable with that) to ensure they are far away from the said sports team. I was placed on the 3rd floor of a six-floor hotel with a hockey team, and I didn't get much sleep. I am a soccer mom, often going on trips and having to stay in a hotel, wanting the kids to have fun. However, other guests are NOT staying at the hotel for that reason and may want a good night's sleep. Additionally, because the hotel was full of hockey families, when I came back from dinner, the parking lot was full, and I had to park in the very back lot (which I think is meant for people parking then flying out of the Buffalo airport). However, the lot is not well-lit. A female walking alone in the dark with shopping bags, I do not recommend
