American Exteriors sided our house in the spring , and we're very pleased with the quality of the work, as well as the crew. They were professional and we enjoyed working with them. It turned out beautiful ! Pricing was reasonable too.

Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the quality of work done because no one ever showed up to do my free estimate that I called and made an appointment for in regards to getting a new window installed. The guy I spoke to had me take pictures inside and out of the window ahead of time so he could see it and it was agreed upon to come the next day for an estimate. I never even got a courtesy call to say they were running late or that they couldn’t make it and after a phone call to them and a text, still no response. This is poor customer service. I guess because it was just one window it wasn’t considered a big enough job for their time, which if that’s the case they could have just told me that after they saw the pictures instead of wasting my time. Very disappointed.

Well things started off great I had siding and gutters replaced. I had them do some minor roof repairs. Then I had them do my windows and back screen door and thats were things went sour. Not too long after the windows and door was done we had some strong winds and it blew the door right off in November right befor winter and along with the door a chunk of wood out of my frame I immediately called Steve and he assured me they would take care of it. We'll steve never came and in January or February I called again just to make sure he was still coming because the draft from the cold continuously found its way in my house he assured they were coming. Then again in April I called and he again says we didn't forget about you. Now here it is end of August and still no door befor another buffalo winter. All is fine until something happens then they don't seem to stand by there work. Service: Roof repair

After hiring "affordable" companies to do my roof and redo my balcony with poor results, I decided that maybe my problem was that I needed to stop bargain hunting because you get what you pay for. When I had my siding done I picked the most expensive estimate I was given - American Exteriors - hoping that I would get great work this time. The siding they put around the awning over my back door looks very tacky, and my screen door scrapes against it every time we open it. They completely ignored the large window that is directly in front of my house, it still has blue trim around it from the color it used to be (the new color is tan with green trim). At the time they told me that I would have to just paint it for some reason and I didn't feel like arguing with them. The siding constantly blows off the house and the windows every time it's windy and my boyfriend has to hammer it back in. The first time it happened a few years ago, I called them and they came out and hammered it back in, but since then I haven't even bothered calling them. The siding was done years ago but I am forever reminded of my dissatisfaction literally every single day when I open the back door and it scrapes against the awning and every time we have an extra windy day.
