Their website, as well as their Yelp profile, advertises a "14 day trial pass". After requesting this pass, I got an email containing a "14-day trial pass" with the address and phone number for this particular location, but upon trying to use it I was told that this particular location doesn't honor the offer. Note that the offer is being made on this location's Yelp profile, and the pass that I was emailed has the address and phone number for this location. Shady bait-and-switch, tells me all I need to know about the way this gym does business. No way would I enter into a long-term contract with a business that pulls this right from the start.

The absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. Their gym is not nearly as nice as other gyms. Not enough locker space, bathrooms ridiculous. Had an issues with getting the free pass for my daughter even though my son was a memeber. READ THE FINE PRINT IN YOUR CONTRACT!!!!!!! I called in to cancel the membership. They directed me to put it in writting told me where to email it. I emailed the cancellation. Then they told me my son who is a minor had to do it which I sat down with him he did it and cc'd me. I started getting collection letters and calls I sent copies of the emails they said it was not the proper way to cancel I had to pay. Then I did pay and there was no way around a processing fee of antoher almost five dollars. The collection agency Anytime fiteness uses is first credit services out of NJ. They barely speak English and they were threatening that if I did not pay the service fee that this would not be resolved and still on my credit that they would not take the payment without the fee. I offered to mail it in and they told me a week in the mail, two weeks for them to process and another week to clear the check I would owe more money and this still would not be cleared up. I paid the 79.96 plus the almost 5 dollars only to keep my credit in tact but I promised I would be calling the BBB, writting reviews everywhere I can againts Anytime Fitness and First Credit Services. Do not get engaged with a business that penalizes you financially for their employees not knowing how to cancel a membership. Anytime fitness is greedy it is all about the money not the experience of the Gym and getting in shape.

I recently moved and was looking for a gym to workout at. I noticed that anytime fitness had a nice and clean facility available and was interested in joining. I printed out a 7 day pass from the internet so I could try it out. When I showed up at the gym a woman told me they weren't accepting the passes considering students were coming home and abusing the free pass. The gym itself is nice, but I am not happy with the fact that the website stated different information than the worker presented to me. I understand the company doesn't want to give out free passes for no reason.. but i'm just trying to get an hour workout in. After she told me I couldn't workout with that pass she then offered me a day pass for 20 dollars. This gym is not covered in gold and diamonds.. so i'm still having conflicts understanding why the rates are so high. If you want to save money and get a good workout go to Worlds gym. The workers at Worlds are very flexible, the prices are very cheap, and the facility is updated. Another great gym is YMCA. The prices are similar to anytime fitness(still cheaper) but you are given the opportunity to use a pool, 2 basketball courts, a great workout area, food/drinks, a hot tub, and steam room. Yes i'm basing my opinion on this one little situation but i'm just saying.. don't even bother with anytime fitness. You like the fact that it is 24 hours? who cares worlds gym is 24 hours Monday-Thursday.. and it's a lot cheaper. 1 month at anytime fitness is the equivalent to 6 at Worlds. Even if the gym is convenient because of the location.. you would still save more including gas by going to another gym. Don't waste your time.

I am a non member, looking for a gym to join. Not only is the staff hours very limited for a 24 hour gym, but the monthly rate of $60.00 per month, is a bit high by about 200%. I only know this rate, because I looked online to find they do not honor the 7 day trail membership, so I gave them my contact info to contact me, waited 2 days, no contact. I went in at 9am on a Monday, no employees present, came back at 4pm, door was locked and an employee let me in and after about 20 questions of beating around the bush I find the rate to be 60.00 a month unless I sign an annual contract with a 3rd party payment company. Not to mention the whole while I was there, the music playing was putting me to sleep. One of the trainers came in the office while I was asking about a possible month at the regular annual price to see if I am ready to get back to the gym (recent injuries) and the trainer complained the music was driving him and his clients mad because it was a slow sappy song which would make a 5 year old sniffing pixie sticks fall asleep. Then another member came into the office 1 minute later saying she couldn't hear the music in the aerobic room. I inquired with the employee where the locker rooms were, I was looking to see the size and cleanliness of the showers and lockers, I was told there is no locker room. I asked the employee to contact the manager or owner, and only after multiple attempts did the manager pick up and didn't make any attempt to gain a client, rather he stonewalled his employee and indirectly me. At this point, I excused myself and thanked her for her time. I will be driving 20 minutes out of my way everyday from now on to go to a better gym. I would advise you to do the same.
