Drew the new store manager is amazing. Always working, always greets you with a smile on his face and always willing to help.

A lot of these stores are so unorganized and just plain nasty, clothes on the floor boxes in the aisle sometimes I want to apply for management just to keep the place clean, however I'll go out of my way for a clean Family Dollar. This one was quite acceptable and I appreciate that.

This place is just nasty. Mislabeled prices. Empty shelves. Boxes blocking the aisles. Rude Unfriendly cashiers who Would rather be playing on their phone arguing and throwing f bombs in front of customers. I swear my last time was it for me. I just turned around and walked out in disgust never to return.

As time goes by many people; including myself, have seen this store get better within a few months. It has its ups and downs but I know the manager that got there few months ago did her best to maintain a rundown building and tried to maintain good workers while taking the bad ones out. Havent seen her in there for a while and I hope they didnt get rid of her but, they have another manager doing it in her place Im assuming. But as a community around Hertel we need to understand them better and do better for them as well. Everyone knows they cant stop thievery and customers bad habits on their own. But we should acknowledge one another and get along with each other.. A needle in a fine haystack is the goal. We need to make sure we do our part and uplift the stores reputation instead of just judging on image.
