Your words are quoted with our responses directly below.1)"I hate the bugs that raid the apartment, the outside noise is extremely liud."Please call us if you are having an issue in your apartment. We cannot rectify an issue we do not know about.As far as noise goes, Delaware Ave is busy and there is nothing we can do about street noise. However, all the windows at this location are double pane replacement windows and they do a great job muffling the street noise when closed.2)"The walls are not as thick as they say. They’re actually not insulated. They call them fire walls but thats not enough for the rent paid every month."This apartment community was built almost 100 years ago, so the walls do not have blown in insulation...they are not supposed to. The Delaware Park apartments completed an energy audit/efficiency improvement program through NYSERDA over a decade ago. So everywhere that can be insulated is (ie boiler lines, crawl spaces, water tanks). Regarding the walls: We prefer our walls (for sound proofing/safety) to any new construction. Even if we count "new construction" as being every wall constructed from 1970-now. But I guess we'll just have to see how todays new construction holds up over the next 100 years to be sure. We'll keep you posted!3) "The stairs are very dirty. They say they clean the halls and stairways but there is alotnof dirty and webon the stairs and window sills. Very unhealthy."We have two employees who are responsible for cleaning the property exterior/grounds and hallways and we have not received any other complaints regarding common areas. We will make sure to let our staff know which building needs extra attention when you let us know. However, nothing about what you detailed is "very unhealthy".4) "There is not enough parking it seems because people park where it says no parking when it gets full. I dont think this really old apartment is worth so much every month. It’s not even close to a modern look."We do have the parking lot monitored to make sure our residents have parking. Residents parked illegally/unauthorized vehicles receive violation stickers and repeat offenders risk being towed at their expense.We offer remodeled kitchen units for residents who prefer something more updated.In summary, we do not know which building/apartment you live in. Please contact our office at 716-874-7700, as our maintenance staff addresses most service requests within 24 hours.
