I went here as a first time experience and it was so efficient and comfortable. I barely even noticed getting waxed because the conversation we had was so interesting and she was so so so comforting. I feel great and hairless after my session and will NEVER go back to shaving.

Truly the best, most comfortable, relaxed, super fast, and painless experience with great conversation. I live between NYC and Puerto Rico, and will intentionally wait to ONLY come to Katrina when Im back in town. (Ive had too many terrible waxing experiences in NYC elsewhere where I come out burned, feeling uncomfortable, or having endured a test of pain so when you find the most knowledgeable, fun, kind and perfect wax specialist, youre hyper loyal!) Shes also incredible at making you not feel awkward or uncomfortable with super exposed bits, and has great taste in music; I get a full Brazilian, full leggies, and underarms.

Such a good experience. It's hard to believe I am saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my time getting a wax but it was fantastic. Quick, good conversation, and thoughtfully done. Highly recommended! I'll be going back :) Services: Bikini waxing, Brazilian waxing

I desperately needed a Brazilian wax and wanted to go to a Black-owned salon. Now Ive had a lot of waxes in my life, but Im always a little nervous beforehand, especially with a new person. I called Katrina and got a same day appointment and as soon as she picked up the phone, her energy and demeanor was so sweet and calming so that already put me at ease before even meeting her. The salon is in Brooklyn in a studio that has a lot of different smaller suites on the 2nd floor. Now, onto the important stuff Her space was clean and I could see that she cleaned and sanitized before and after the waxing. Now, the waxinglets be honest, Brazilian waxing is never pleasant, per se, unless youre into that type of thing, but she was so gentle, so quick, and so thorough that it was over before I knew it, and part of the reason it was even somewhat painful is because I waited months to get any type of hair removal. So long story short, Im so glad I took a chance and went to KYC, because she is really good at what she does. I came home and looked down there with my hand mirror and I am smooth as an egg! Not 1 hair left. The whole experience made me feel very at ease and comfortable. I would absolutely go back to KYC Wax again and again, thank you Katrina!
