Ive been here a few times and always had a good experience. The staff are nice and the PAs always attended me well, prescribing things when necessary or being honest with me and refer me to the ER when they felt it was urgent. Just be aware that even if you make an appointment, you may have to wait 30-60+ mins depending on the amount of patients there.

Turns out this place is notorious for overcharging. Wish I would've known sooner, but it is well known in the Williamsburg community that they have a consistent history & various creative methods of overcharging (other reviews here seem to also back this claim). My personal experience: #1: One Covid test. Confirmed with insurance & Northwell that I will incur no out of pocket expenses for a Covid test. A couple of months later, get a bill for $200+ for the Covid test. I call and it turns out that they misspelled my name in the insurance claim, and thus my insurance rejected it. Luckily this time, they fixed it and I was not on the hook for the payment. Still, not the type of mistake you want from your medical provider & I wasted 1.5 hours trying to straighten this out. #2: Another Covid test. Again, confirmed with insurance & Northwell that I would incur no out of pocket expenses. Months later, get a bill for $267 for the Covid test. I call customer service and this time they say that insurance only paid partially. I call my insurance company (Aetna), and they say that the reason why they only paid partially was because Northwell did not code my visit as a Covid test, and as something else. Aetna then creates a 3-way call between me, Aetna and Northwell. Aetna & Northwell both confirm that I should in no way be responsible for a Covid test. Northwell confirms that they miscoded the visit, and will fix the code. RED FLAG HERE: when I asked for written confirmation, they said that they are not able to do so. Additionally, they said that I might receive another bill in the next couple of months but that I can ignore it. MY FAULT HERE: I should have known better here than to believe them and done something to get better confirmation. Fast forward a few months, I now have a bill from a COLLECTION AGENCY for the $267 payment. I can accept a one-time mistake (spelling error), but to follow that up with another mistake (coding error), followed by blatantly false information (ignore the bill, no need to pay), followed by forwarding my bill to a collection agency is not forgivable. It's tragic that Northwell has been using Covid as a revenue growth opportunity to make money off of patients by falsely charging them off something that is supposed to be free. Do better. Alternatively, if we assume that Northwell has the best of intentions, then it just means that they are grossly incompetent and extremely prone to making mistakes. Neither is something you want from a medical provider.
