I like what they do for charity but the sales associate was very pushy to my disabled client trying to get her to by a membership even though I said No a bunch of times on her behalf. $120 is not cheap either for said membership.

I wouldnt classify this as a thrift store. This is more like an eBay store where they get donated gifts for free and price match their prices to roughly around the top dollar price for the same used goods on eBay. This growing trend with corporate thrift stores such as Goodwill, Salvation Army, Housing Works and other conglomerate companies that receive free donations and in return price gouge their own clientele who are there to shop on a budget is the quintessential American way of screwing over the consumer. Just look at how much money Housing Works is making on their dispensary. It costs roughly $400,000 to $1,000,000 to operate and start a dispensary. Do you really need to price gouge thrift store clientele to keep up with the market. These companies need to be reclassified as resell flea markets and not as thrift stores. No this comment wont change their prices but maybe someone else will see it who is unaware of this growing change in this industry and maybe just maybe that can be a snow ball effect into bigger change. #bringbackrealthriftstores
