Brook Plaza Ambulatory Surgery

This place is one HIPAA violation and/or Joint Commission investigation from being shut down. The staff here have no discretion when it comes to your information and use both your first and last name and date of birth in complete earshot of other patients. I had enough information to steal the identities of five people while waiting. They don't allow a medical chaperone or family members to go in with patients for pre-procedure checks even if medical assistants don't speak the language of the patient. The waiting area they send you to is an old reception area with folding chairs. I also never received a phone call when my partner finished their procedure and they were in the waiting area unable to communicate for over an hour. If you value your health or the comfort of your loved one avoid this place at all costs.

Gr8est customer service .... However: Staff should be trained to more sensitive to clients signatures....there was a women there reading consent form and customer svc rep was like just sign on x.....

I was there for cataract surgery recently and found the clerical, medical and support staff to be Extremely courteous, caring, gentle , supportive and extremely professional. I am glad my eye surgeon is a part of this group and will wholeheartedly recommend the facility to friends and family.
