        Dr Steele seems good based on my consultation but good luck ever getting a call back from them. Like ever. I left a total of 6 voicemails on 3 different numbers and I never got a single call back to discuss the CT results, schedule the surgery, etc. I expected more from a NY Presbyterian affiliated practice. I switched surgeons and Im having it done by Columbia Hernia Center.

        Dr. Steele performed surgery on me December 13, 2021 for a hernia mesh repair; he did an amazing repair of my hernia and I have had no pain or any complications since. Without a doubt, he is one of the best surgeons I have ever utilized. I would highly recommend him to all persons in need of Medical consultation, surgery, or any other medical issues.         About Two weeks ago, I developed an small lump on the left side of my groin. It was very painful I could barely walk at times. I thought it was a boil , I have gotten them in the past. But this was bigger and under the skin. After 4 days I could not get relief from advil & heating pad. So I went to the ER were they did a MRI with contrast. They notice a mass but would need tissue sample to determine what it actually is. I was told to follow up with Dr. Steele. So today Im here waiting to see what he says. I have copies of the Emergency Room MRI and there findings.
