Comprehensive Podiatry Center the medical office assistants lack professionalism and is unapologetic when they make a mistake. February 5, 2024 I entered this facility with my appointment card saying February 5, 2024 9am the office assistant looked at her computer screen and told me the appointment is February 15, 2024. They wasted my time. For a longtime I have been getting turned off from this place. Comprehensive Podiatry Center would bill my medicare insurance plan and send me bills saying I owe for something then when I call them they would say disregard the bill. Dr. Cohen owns the practice and every statement I receive from medicare has his name, yet he never wants to address the lack of incompetency going on in his practice.

Worst experience ever. A nice guy who saw me for 10 minutes because of tendinitis. Gave me a boot and told me I needed to completely stay off my feet for 6 weeks. Then maybe start physical therapy. I walked home with the boot which affected my balance since it made one leg higher then the other. When I got home. Also when I left I was told no charge because my insurance covered all. When I got home I thought I would get a second opinion since his diagnosis and instructions would drastically affect my life. I saw a NYU MD who confirmed that while I did have mild tendinitis his instructions were completely wrong and if followed would have caused me numerous problems. I gave away the boot. Started PT. And I was fine after about a month. To make matters worse insurance didnt cover everything and I received a bill!! Do not go to Dr Dawson
PS. He never followed up to see how I was doing.

Came in the other day with my husband and saw a pregnant woman and a slightly larger woman. The pregnant woman was in the front and the other woman was in the back doing absolutely nothing even after the
pregnant lady called for help. The communication here
is horrible! They seem understaffed and overwhelmed. I felt so bad for them that I had to post!!

Dr. Cohen is the best! He takes his time and explains everything, whether it's a procedure or any other concerns that you may have. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional.

Dr Cohen knows his shit.  When I arrived at his office 2 years ago my feet seemed to be in irreparable shape.   He fixed them.  It takes some time but his predictions made during the first visit - were spot on.  Highly recommended.
